Flexible Spending Accounts
  • A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to set aside before-tax income to pay for dependent care and out-of-pocket Health Care expenses.

  • Payless offers two Flexible Spending Accounts: Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account and Health Care Flexible Spending Account. UnitedHealthcare processes claims for both the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account and Health Care Flexible Spending Account.

  • A Consumer Accounts Card will be provided to Flexible Spending Account participants.

  • When you incur eligible medical, dental, and/or vision treatment; or day care services covered under your Flex Plan, you will be eligible for reimbursement from your Flexible Spending Account.

  • 2008 Flexible Spending Account contributions will be deducted from your paychecks throughout the calendar year.
    • 2008 eligible expenses for reimbursement must be incurred January 1, 2008 - March 15, 2009.
