| How to File a Flexible Spending Account Claim |
- You will need to file a paper claim (including your receipts) anytime you are unable or choose not to use your Consumer Accounts Card (ex. Provider doesn't have a MasterCard processor, the merchant code does not match, or charges do not equal a co-pay).
- UnitedHealthcare will process claims for both Dependent Care and Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts.
- If you have to file a paper claim, the usual turnaround time for processing your check is seven (7) to ten (10) business days.
