The Eastern and Western Distribution Center observes the following holidays:

• New Years Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day (December 25)
  
  
• Full-time Associates are eligible for holiday pay.
  
  
• Those Full-time Associates who work on an observed Eastern and Western DC holiday will receive their regular rate of pay for the regularly scheduled number of hours worked on the holiday plus eight hours of holiday pay.
  
  
• You must work the scheduled work day before and after the holiday unless;
  
  • The holiday falls during a vacation;
  • Your regularly rotating day off falls on either the day before or the day after the holiday;
  • You have a proven illness;
  • You have prior written authorization from your Supervisor.
    
    
• If an observed holiday falls during an Associate's vacation, the Associate will receive an additional day of vacation.
